Our Mission
VBA Mission Statement
The Veteran Buddy Association exists to unify, protect, and empower veterans by creating a nationwide, veteran-owned and veteran-operated support network that begins at the moment of discharge—regardless of discharge status—and continues throughout every phase of civilian life.
We are not another nonprofit. We are a force multiplier that strengthens the services already available, not replaces them. Our core mission is to funnel veterans into verified, trustworthy programs and veteran-owned businesses—eliminating misinformation, fraud, and systemic neglect through peer-to-peer accountability and boots-on-ground support.
VBA connects every veteran to a trained peer—called a Veteran Buddy—who ensures that no veteran falls through the cracks. Our organization verifies veteran-owned businesses, protects the integrity of veteran benefits, promotes public trust, and preserves the personal and historical legacy of every American who served.
We believe veterans are not broken. They are underutilized. We are committed to recording their stories, strengthening their families, and activating their potential—not just as recipients of care, but as leaders, mentors, and protectors of the American promise.
Through decentralized outposts, national programs, a centralized data bank, and direct outreach, VBA will build a lasting infrastructure of support—one veteran at a time—until every brother and sister in arms is seen, served, and supported.
